<TITLE>05. Par 19-22</TITLE>L-19 Now, if we become so filled with God, and so immuned from the things of the world, we can see God in every act in every move of life. Don't you believe that? If we set aside all the things of the world... Sometimes we come to church, for instance, to a meeting like this, say, "Now, I'm going down there. I don't believe in no such stuff as that. I don't believe it, and I'm going down there, because I'm going to prove to myself there's nothing to it." Well, that's just the way you'll return, the same way. You'll say, "Well..." Because Satan will show you many things that there is--and he will tell you there's nothing to it. But now, if you go with the intention to find God or to know of God, God will reveal Himself to you, because He's under obligation to do so. That's exactly right, and He will do it.

L-20 Now, if you--if you come with that intention tonight. Let's find out Who Jesus of Nazareth is. And if we find out what He was in the days gone by, why, we--we will know what He is today. Is that right? If we--if we know what He was in the days that was, we know what He will be today.
Now, if we could imagine of seeing Him in that day, and somebody described Him to us, and said He was a tall Man, or a thin Man, or a heavy Man, or whatever it was, we would be looking for that type of a man.
The Bible doesn't say what statue He was. He said, "There was no beauty of Him, that we would desire Him." I suppose He wasn't a great, big, handsome, tall Man, because the Scripture said, "There's no beauty that we should desire Him."

L-21 Well then, if the Scripture said that, we couldn't look for that type of man. But the Scripture doesn't exactly give His statue. But the Scripture does reveal Him, what He is in His power and in His--His manifestation, what He is.
Now, if we can read in the Scripture and find what He was then, why, we know what He is now. Is that right? Whatever He was then, He is yet tonight, for the Scripture says, "He's the same yesterday, today, and forever." Is that right?

L-22 Now, if we can find that type of a person, then we have found the Lord Jesus Christ working in that person. Now, Jesus did not come out and, before the people, with a big brag, and a boost, and He was, "Bring Me this, and bring Me that, and I'll show you what I can do with it."
Jesus wasn't that type of person. He give all praise to Almighty God. He said, "The Son can do nothing in Himself, but what He sees the Father doing." He never give one boost of what He could do. And frankly, He went so much as to say this, that He did not do one thing, until first God showed Him what to do.
